Perez to Expand The Phelps Group’s “Total Market” Capabilities

Alex PerezSANTA MONICA, Calif. – (Feb. 22, 2012) – In a continuing effort to serve the diverse needs of the Hispanic marketplace, The Phelps Group announces that Alex Perez has joined the integrated marketing communications (IMC) agency as a Team Leader. Alex will be providing multi-cultural insight, as well as supporting the needs of the agency’s existing clients.

Perez most recently served as a Group Account Director for Lopez Negrete Communications in Houston, on the Walmart Hispanic national account. Prior to that, he was an Executive Account Director at an interactive shop, XD Theory, working with such brands as Lexus, Metropolitan Water District, and Healthy for Life-St. Joseph Health Systems.

His broad experience also includes serving as VP General Manager at Muse Cordero, managing business totaling more than $19 million for the MGM Mirage, Medicare, and First 5 California.

Perez’s numerous professional affiliations include serving on the board of thinkLA, for which he served as president for the organization’s Multicultural Advertising Training Program, and a member of the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications. He earned his B.S. B.A. from California State University, Northridge.
